this was a delightful year for books. i had hoped to read three a month this year, and so it feels like a celebration that i got to 40 or so (replete with some tossed confetti, naturally!) despite that if i was competing with heath, i would have lost by like 100. but of course we're not competing, and maybe just because i don't like losing. i'm excited to start out the new year with nw by zadie smith, and finally get all the way through infinite jest. er, maybe.
what were your best reads of the year?
